Just as with climbing, where the superfluous and the excessive are not expected, so the user experience of the site is designed to be simple and clear, without excess.
Vulcano redesigned the whole online experience of La Sportiva focusing on the core UX design essence, invisibility.
Cutting off excesses, simplifying flows when surfing from a page to another to optimize conversions. Among the goal was to more attractively let users feel the products and the whole world of La sportiva boosting all emotions behind any limits.
Vulcano simplified product listing pages and product pages, improving the internal search and numerous editorial resources focused on technologies and in-depth analysis, thus facilitating consultation.
Moreover, proper technical improvement on the eCommerce (the contact us section, online touchpoints such as storelocator, FAQ and users profiling) allowed to reduce any waste of time waiting for a reply or with online support, completing the overall optimization framework of the site.
We reach the aim basically giving boldness to 3 main pillars: the brand, the community and making the add to cart clearer as easier.
For these reasons, Vulcano’s actions can be defined as a revolution of the user experience.
